YOUR TASKS
A Warehousing Systems Key User plays a critical role in ensuring the warehouse management system (WMS) runs smoothly, supports operations, and delivers accurate data to meet business needs. This role bridges operations and technology by training staff, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvement.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Manage and monitor warehouse management operating systems and data for the supply chain.
Query and validate system data to ensure accuracy for orders, quality, and accounting.
Serve as the first point of contact for WMS-related user questions and issues.
Provide training to warehouse staff on effective WMS usage.
Troubleshoot and resolve WMS issues, escalating to IT when needed.
Identify and lead process improvement opportunities within warehouse operations through WMS.
Support implementation of new WMS features, system upgrades, and transitions for users.
Maintain up-to-date WMS procedures, documentation, and best practices.
Collaborate with warehouse management, IT, and other departments to align systems with business needs.
Act as a backup to all other FGW positions, requiring a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
