We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing into our Future Grids portfolio and applications to create the power distribution grid of the future. Our comprehensive portfolio meets the growing technical requirements of today’s and tomorrow’s power grid! The **Knightdale** facility will deliver integrated electrical skid assemblies that combine power distribution and power conversion equipment with protection and automation systems. Electrical skids provide outdoor rated, modular, value-add solutions for key vertical markets to improve delivery reliability and lower total cost of ownership for customers. **We are looking for a Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This position will be based in Knightdale, NC. Relocation cost assistance is available.** **Position Overview:** You will lead the warehouse, receiving, and inventory control activities at the Siemens plant. **You’ll make an impact by:** + Lead the annual physical inventory and setup a cycle count program + Manage hourly shipping, receiving, and material handling employees + Maintains department staff job results by training, measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees + Ensure compliance with shipping processes for domestic and international shipment + Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols + Conducts short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources are balanced with demand + Monitor department workflow indicators and respond to exceptions + Troubleshooting complex inventory and departmental errors. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions + Guide and manage the process of material flow within the facility to internal customers **You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:** **Basic Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related discipline + 3-5 years of leadership experience in a high volume manufacturing environment + Experience in areas such as Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or other related manufacturing functions + Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines + Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal + Experience with warehouse management systems + Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel + Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of warehouse material handling equipment + Experience with warehouse scanning equipment and applications **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience with SAP WM module + Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. + Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP). + Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Excellent communication and leadership skills. **About Siemens:** We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare. Details regarding our benefits can be found here. The pay range for this position is $82,320 - $141,120 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary.
