• Key elements should include the following:
o Reporting directly to the Warehouse Team Leader, issues assignments, leads, instructs and directs the flow of work of a group according to daily schedules.
o Performs a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, inventory control, work orders, and removal of storage parts, materials, and products.
o Ensures that the group and individual productivity goals are met, consistent with department and facility goals.
o Ensures product specifications are met.
o Ensure quality and production documentation is filled out properly.
o Ensure component inventory accuracy by means of proper production reporting.
o Trains new associates in functions of the group and assures quality of the work performed under the supervision.
o Evaluates and gives input to Warehouse Team Leader on work performance of associates under their supervision for purpose of discipline and performance reviews.
o Review daily attendance and incidents. Report to Warehouse Team Leader.
o Communicate with forklift driver to update priority product.
o Effectively recommends appropriate discipline/corrective action.
o Keep work area clean and orderly in-line with 6S guidelines.
o Ensure any equipment or facility damage is reported immediately.
o Performs other duties as requested.
• Key responsibilities will include the following:
o Avoiding damage to equipment or process due to mistake or carelessness, including damage to machines, tools, supplies, devices, apparatus and solutions.
o Avoid damage to materials, product or installation. Damage may be caused by negligent inspection or testing, wastage of materials, or damage caused by improper installation.
o Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard.
o Responsible for one or more persons.
