Requirements Responsible for the storage and movement of materials and finished goods including: • Shipping & Receiving • Warehousing • Order Filling, Picking, and Packing • Inventory Control & Records Management • Dispatch •Developing transport schedules, methods, and routes • Analyzing and projecting transportation costs • Coordinating customs clearances and permits • Maintaining, loading, packing and driving vehicles • Evaluating, selecting, and managing ongoing relationships with external transport providers (e.g., fuel suppliers, trucking/shipping companies, etc.) • Acquiring and managing fleet vehicles

This is a 3rd shift opportunity.

Base pay rate is $23.00/HR.

JOB SUMMARY

In collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead determines daily workload, sets priorities and directs team with meeting daily objectives while providing superior service to Company’s Distribution Centers, Customers, and Suppliers while maintaining a positive and proactive relationship with management and employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with Supervisors to determine the daily, weekly, and monthly workload. Direct team of employees and provide leadership and assistance with the daily operations to meet all daily objectives. Assist employees with exceptions and problem resolution. Perform warehouse duties including but not limited to:

Unloading and loading of shipmentsPut away and replenishmentReceivingSelection of productsItem demand/count checksCommunicate any issues or suggestions to Supervisor.Train and assess new employees and re-train as necessary.Ensure all employees are performing duties accurately and efficientlyAssist management with safety initiativesAssist management with other duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
High School Diploma or GED required

Experience
2-5 years’ warehouse experience, including strong knowledge of Import/Export receiving and shipping and inventory control processes, procedures and practices. Must be familiar with related OSHA regulations.

Preferred Experience:

Microsoft office : Excel, outlook and word.

Leadership experience in a team environment.

Must be able to work overnight and fill in on other shifts as needed.

Must have reliable transportation.

Fork lift experience, cherry picker, pallet jack, R/F scanner.
