Warehouse & Inventory Control Coordinator
**Job Description:** **Position Objective:** The Warehouse & Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for managing assigned dock operations, including shipping and receiving of product to and from outside processors. This role serves as the primary backup for steel receiving, owns the MRO receiving and delivery process, and provides secondary support for Finished Goods shipping. In addition, the position plays a key role in supporting the cycle count process in Zeeland to ensure inventory accuracy. The coordinator also performs general warehouse functions, including material handling, forklift operation, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. **Essential Functions** : **Dock & Shipping/Receiving Ownership** + Oversee shipping and receiving of product to and from outside processors. + Ensures documentation accuracy and timely processing of all inbound/outbound material. + Acts as the primary point of contact for dock activities, including keeping dock areas organized, owning the flow of all material within the area, and tracking and maintaining awareness of all materials stored within the area. **Steel & MRO Receiving** + Serves as the primary backup for steel receiving, supporting raw material flow into production. + Owns the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) receiving process, including receiving of goods into QAD (ERP system) and delivery of materials to designed areas. **Shipping Support** + Functions as secondary backup for Finished Goods (FG) shipping, ensuring customer shipments are staged, labeled, documented accurately, and then loaded on a timely basis to outbound trailers. **Inventory Control & Cycle Counting** + Supports cycle counting activities in Zeeland to ensure inventory accuracy. + Investigates and resolves discrepancies in inventory records. **Warehouse Organization & Safety** + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. + Follow all safety protocols and forklift operation guidelines. + Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs. + Collaborate with team members to support warehouse and production needs. **Qualifications** + Prior experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, or inventory control preferred. + Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience. + Ability to lift up to 40–60 lbs. + Previous hilo experience with emphasis on safety and proficiency. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping. + Current or ability to obtain company hilo license. + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. + Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation. + Experience with ERP systems (such as QAD) preferred _ITW is an equal opportunity employer.
