Warehouse Foreman with five (5) years of experience in furniture/assets warehousing operations and the inventory and organization of different types of furniture and the related parts/pieces to manage the proper storage and moving of furniture related items.
The Warehouse Foreman shall be required to use and maintain and update weekly the quantities, types and sizes of assets, seating, Steelcase or Knoll workstation components, tables, upholstery items etc., and as requested by Project Managers in addition to the following:
**Responsibilities**
The Warehouse Foreman shall be required to use and maintain and update weekly the quantities, types and sizes of assets, seating, Steelcase or Knoll workstation components, tables, upholstery items etc., and as requested by Project Managers in addition to the following:
+ Receive and inspect shipments.
+ Prepare shipments for shipping.
+ Maintain inventories and keep accurate records.
+ Excess property to GSA and UNICOR.
+ Maintain a safe work environment.
+ Assist with movement of furniture from the warehouse to delivery trucks.
+ Ensure protection of inventory from damage via blankets and/or bubble wrap.
+ Oversee warehouse staff.
+ Provide asset inventory reporting using the IMS or other means, as required by asset managers.
+ Oversight and full knowledge of warehouse operations for both asset inventory services and furniture and facilities services.
**Qualifications**
+ Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in warehouse management.
+ Ability to store and organize all necessary parts and components related to Steelcase Context and Knoll Morrison lines.
+ Highly motivated, detail oriented with organizational skills.
+ Handle all shipping and receiving at warehouse.
+ Able to properly package and transport furniture and assets from the warehouse to prevent damage.
+ Able to provide weekly inventory control log via updated Excel spreadsheet or equivalent.
+ Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jackets, shrink wrap machine and maintain forklift certification.
+ Ability to operate a desktop computer and/or laptop computer.
+ Intermediate Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills.
+ Will be required to get access to SharePoint and TRIRIGA.
+ Able to work occasional weekends and after hours when required.
+ Powered furniture systems experience.
