The Warehouse Clerk safely loads clean trailers with White Castle product that has been properly rotated, ships with proper documentation, and is efficient in our WMS system. This position description does not contain a comprehensive list of required duties and responsibilities. The Warehouse Clerk is expected to perform related duties assigned by management, which may be added, revised, or eliminated based on business and operational needs, with or without advance notice. The role must follow the direction and guidance of the Operations Supervisor and the Plant Manager.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
Aptitude to work in and withstand various temperate conditions and loading trucks in cold temperatures;Ability to frequently sit, stand and be on feet for long periods of time;Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) per day as supplies or material are received;Frequent bending, stooping, climbing in awkward positions;Can you say #dreamjob!?! High school diploma or GED is required;Prior warehouse and inventory experience preferred;Experience with WMS/ERP warehouse software preferred;Must have ability and have prior experience driving a forklift;Ability to become licensed for the operation of a forklift and motorized hand jack;Possess proficient computer experience with Microsoft word, Outlook & Excel;Aptitude to complete the 10-hour OSHA training and yearly leadership training course through AlchemyPossess good verbal communication skills, teamwork, ability to give and receive direction, and follow detailed instructions;Aptitude to stay focused and accomplish multiple tasks independently with limited supervision and within established timeframes;Competent in effective communication and interpersonal skills with supervisors, drivers, and operations supervisor, in the absence of the traffic/warehouse coordinator
