Summary of the role

Shipping:

Prepare and process shipping documents (bills of lading, packing slips, customs forms).Schedule and coordinate outbound shipments with carriers.Track shipments and resolve delivery issues.Ensure proper packaging and labeling of outgoing goods.

Receiving:

Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.Record discrepancies or damaged goods.Coordinate unloading, sorting, and stocking of received items.Update inventory systems with received goods.

Inventory & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving transactions.Use ERP or WMS systems to track inventory movement.

Compliance & Safety:

Maintain a clean and organized shipping/receiving area.Handle hazardous materials in accordance with regulations (if applicable).
