What you will do:

Load and unload product in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitmentsDeliver orders to customers’ facilities, construction sites other branches or warehouses using the most effective itinerary or assigned itinerary.Receive incoming shipments and checking for accuracyPut away product to correct areas in the warehouse in a timely mannerPick, pack and ship customer orders, including preparing documentation for shipmentLiaise with freight companies and inside/outside customers to determine shipping prioritiesResponsible for transporting material to and from customer sites and other local locations.Obtain necessary shipping documentation related to the assigned route.Load items and orders into truck while adhering to a sometimes tight to delivery schedule.Strap and/or secure material so that there is no damage or breakage to the material during transport.Unload products according to the destination’s applicable rules.Responsible for obtaining a signature of acknowledgment of delivery.Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the warehouse.Provide backup support to Counter Sales team as needed by providing product knowledge and information to customers in a professional manner.

What you will bring:

Previous warehouse experience requiredGeneral basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is requiredExceptional customer service and communication skillsMust be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiativeValid G license required.Clean driver’s abstract is required. (No traffic tickets, no points, and no “at-fault” accidents within the last 3 years)Able to regularly lift up to fifty (50lbs) poundsForklift certified or ability to be certifiedWHMIS and TDG certification would be an assetKnowledge of industry (Plumbing and or HVAC) products is an asset
