Our client, a leader in logistics and warehouse operations, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse support team, assisting with inventory management and material movement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Warehouse Associate
**Location:** Halethorpe, MD
**Pay Range:** $18.00 per hour
**Shift:** Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist with moving materials between warehouse locations to support inventory consolidation.
+ Take inventory out of racks and place items into new racks accurately.
+ Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
+ Work side by side with contracted teams to facilitate inventory movement and organization.
+ Pull and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 6 months of recent sit-down forklift experience.
+ Ability to read and understand work orders effectively.
+ Experience with RF guns or similar inventory scanning technology.
+ Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
+ Background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management, is preferred.
