Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role plays a critical part in ensuring inventory accuracy, order fulfillment efficiency, and a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and qualityPick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standardsLoad and unload trucks and containers safely and efficientlyOrganize, stock, and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locationsOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as requiredMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environmentFollow all company policies, safety procedures, and quality standardsReport damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to supervisorsAssist with other warehouse duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience a plusAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyBasic math and organizational skillsForklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, or pull up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsComfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environmentSkills & CompetenciesAttention to detail and accuracyStrong time-management skillsTeam-oriented mindsetDependability and strong work ethicBasic computer or inventory system knowledge (preferred)Work EnvironmentWarehouse setting with varying temperaturesSchedule may include evenings, weekends, or overtime as neededCompensation & Benefits (if applicable)Competitive hourly wageHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysOpportunities for training and advancement
