Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, supporting production processes, verifying shipments, and assisting with inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload inbound and outbound trailers, ensuring proper documentation.Stage production materials and remove finished products from the production floor.Reconcile product pull sheets with production requirements.Perform accurate product counts, inspect freight for damage, and report discrepancies.Conduct QA inspections for inbound and outbound shipments.Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.Stock shelves and assist with UPS/FedEx shipments.Perform daily equipment checks and ensure safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment.Essential SkillsForklift operation and certification.Picking, packing, and material handling.Shipping and receiving experience.Ability to lift up to 65 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, kneeling, bending, standing for extended periods).Comfortable working in varying temperatures (heat/cold).QualificationsMinimum 1 year of warehouse or manufacturing experience.Ability to operate forklifts and related equipment safely.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.Flexible schedule with occasional weekend hours.Must be comfortable working with hay or hay-based products (no grass allergies).Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.54 - $19.54/hr.
