Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, and performing light assembly tasks. This role involves maintaining an accurate inventory and ensuring a clean and organized warehouse environment. Candidates who have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting will excel in this position.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day operational warehouse tasks such as loading and unloading materials, picking, packing, and shipping orders using handheld tools.Complete accurate data entry by using multiple computer systems and programs.Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, scales, and forklifts. Training will be provided, so no previous experience is necessary.Stock and move materials correctly throughout the warehouse.Maintain accurate inventory data by assisting with cycle counts and physical inventory.Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures and rules.

Essential Skills

6+ months of warehouse experienceAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbsAbility to use basic hand toolsStrong communication skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with inventory management, picking, packing, RF scanners, and material handling is a plus.Energetic and engaging personality during interviews.

Work Environment

Work in a smaller, well-lit warehouse setting with a team of 8-10 individuals. The standard shift is from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The warehouse supervisor will be your direct report.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
