Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The role involves picking orders in the warehouse, measuring cables, conducting inventory checks, loading and unloading trucks, and general maintenance to ensure the cleanliness and organization of products.

ResponsibilitiesPick and pack orders accurately from the warehouse.Measure and cut cables to required specifications.Conduct inventory counts and manage inventory control.Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.Perform general maintenance to clean and organize equipment.Handle shipping and receiving tasks.Operate forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.Essential SkillsMinimum of 2+ years of warehouse experience.Proficiency in forklift operation and general material handling.Experience with inventory management and order picking.Comfortable using hand and power tools.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Additional Skills & QualificationsMechanical aptitude to assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment.Experience with packaging and assembly.Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a blue-collar environment where getting dirty or dusty is part of the job. Handle various products including generators, hoses, straps, and cables. This role operates from 6am-3pm and requires interaction with a team of 28 employees across different departments. Our workplace embodies a rich history in construction equipment supply, serving areas across Chicagoland, NW Indiana, Southern WI, and Champagne, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
