**Job Title: Warehouse Assistant** **Job Description** The Warehouse Assistant will primarily be responsible for picking orders and parts for sales orders. In addition to these duties, the role involves working with MRP systems to ensure the accuracy of parts, transferring parts between locations, and issuing picked parts to manufacturing orders. Other tasks include emptying trash, handling cardboard with a bailer, and occasionally operating a forklift or pallet jack. **Responsibilities** + Pick orders and parts for sales orders. + Utilize MRP systems for verifying accuracy of parts. + Transfer parts from one location to another. + Issue picked parts to manufacturing orders. + Empty trash and cardboard using a bailer. + Operate forklift or pallet jack as needed. **Essential Skills** + Basic computer knowledge for stock transactions. + 1+ year of warehouse experience. + Ability to lift 50 lbs and lift above head. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory processing. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a great work environment where you can have covered drinks and listen to music with one earbud while working. The warehouse is air-conditioned, although it may be warm due to ongoing construction, with winter temperatures around 60 degrees. The working hours are 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with no weekends required. The dress code includes jeans, no cut-off sleeves, and closed-toed shoes. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $16.00/hr.
