**Job Summary**
Shambaugh & Son L.P. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant. In this role you will be responsible for working with service team members to order and organize materials for technicians. Work with field technicians to provide or ensure they have the tools need to be successful on the job. Focus on fire alarm portion of business. Track and order fire alarm parts, tools, and materials. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and panel shop to maximize efficiency and safety.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Interact daily with Coordinator and Sales Team, and Field Technicians to ensure materials are ordered and ready for scheduling projects
+ Practice high attention to detail and accuracy of order processing and scheduling techniques
+ Maintain appropriate inventory levels of most common parts
+ Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order
+ Schedule maintenance of equipment, tools
+ Accept and sort part deliveries
+ Provide solutions or alternate equipment to meet customer’s needs
+ Responsible for clean and organize fire alarm panel shop and shelving
+ Be a self-motivator with little direct supervision required.
+ Display professional appearance.
+ Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
+ Experience with AS400 a plus
+ Must be a self-starter and able to work with diverse group of construction personnel
+ Proficient in Microsoft Access, Word, and Excel
+ Proven experience in multi-tasking and doing several difficult tasks at once – incoming calls, internal personnel, emails, tracking down information, etc.
+ Industry knowledge of equipment, inspection practices, and remediating solutions
+ Must be organized, self-motivated and possess a strong work ethic
+ Professionalism in email and over the phone
+ Motivated to achieve a high standard of productivity
+ Believe that customer service is first priority
+ Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
