Warehouse and Logistics Senior Associate

What You Will Achieve

In this role, you will:

Keep the warehouse(s) clean, organized and always audit ready.

Receive materials into SAP inventory as per applicable SOP's.

Implement improvements as observed during internal and external audits

Deliver production materials in alignment with the production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials and equipment based on production and inventory requirements.

Communicate and participate in any activities with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, if needed.

Collaborate with Buyer Planner and Material Mover to ensure inventory levels and tasks are adhered to.

Be able to stand for extended periods of time and carry packages up to 50lbs.

Serve as the point-of-contact for all inbound and outbound shipments (including DP Shipments, Parcels, Equipment, Testing Supplies etc).

Complete packaging for all outbound shipments domestic via FedEx and international via appropriate couriers.

Facilitate import shipments (expeditors) to clear customs.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and international couriers for export shipments in the applicable systems.

Complete and maintain all documentation for all inbound receipts or external shipments and reconciliation in applicable system if needed (i.e. Open Text).

Ability to drive a BoxTruck, Forklift and/or Power Jack (License Training will be required/provided).

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

High school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of experience or associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience or BA/BS with 2+ years of experience or MBA/MS with any years of relevant experience  

Proficiency in Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Solid understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning systems such as SAP, including Bill of Materials.

Familiarity with System Application & Products and Good Manufacturing Practices (part of GxP)

Strong communication skills

Advanced proficiency in the MS Office Suite

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

CFR49 / IATA Hazmat Training

Relevant pharmaceutical experience

Substantial working experience in various Supply Chain related fields such as logistics, customer service, or demand management

Experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure

Import / Export Experience

  
 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Full Driver’s License with the ability to drive and operate a truck.

Ability to drive forklift or walkie.

Ability to be on one’s feet for extensive periods of time

Some tasks will require the position to perform some job duties in an outside environment.

Can perform some lifting up to 50lbs and movement of items within the warehouse.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,300.00 to $133,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
