We also recognize that each of us has a different way of thinking and perceiving our world and that these differences often lead to innovative solutions.Our dedication to diversity includes a unified workforce (through training and education, recruitment, retention, and development), commitment and accountability, communication, community partnerships, and supplier diversity.Essential Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the clerical and reception duties of the nursing unit.  Interacts with patients visitors, and staff of all ages.  Presents a ready smile and pleasant demeanor in all interactions.Answers the telephone and call lights as soon as possible.  Always pleasant and cordial in interactions with staff, visitors and patients.Daily refrigerator temperature and supply checks and ordersSchedules follow up appointments for patients and provider offices.Faxes essential records to providersScan's EKG's into the electronic medical record.An advocate for patients and their families.Orders unit suppliesUpdates daily assignment board, census sheet, Ascom phone assignments and Cerner patient lists for staff each shift.Order forms for station and file cabinets.  Works with safety as a first priority.Other duties as assigned by management. Is team player and assists staff as needed/requested.Qualifications:High School diplomaMandatory Reporter Dependent Adult and Child within 30-60 days of hire.
