**DESCRIPTION**
We are looking for a high-impact **Training Manager, of Client Operations & Sales** to lead field readiness (coaching, referential materials, & e-learning) projects for our **Walmart Wireless sales program** . In this third-party labor role, you will be responsible for developing and managing training initiatives that support frontline sales teams deployed in Walmart stores nationwide.
The role includes managing a small team of training specialists, overseeing onboarding, e-learnings, and advanced sales technique coaching, to create concise field resources for sales experts in retail locations. From developed reference materials & training assignments, your work will ensure consistent, high-quality sales execution from our program. You’ll play a critical role in driving sales performance while aligning with Walmart’s operational standards and our wireless carrier partners’ brand expectations.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Key Responsibilities:** **Team Leadership & Development**
+ Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Training Specialists responsible for executing training programs across multiple Walmart regions.
+ Establish clear guides, checklists, KPIs and performance benchmarks for training sales personnel.
+ Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the training team.
**Sales Training Program Management**
+ Design and maintain structured onboarding programs for new wireless sales associates and field managers placed in Walmart locations.
+ Lead the development of ongoing learning modules focused on advanced sales techniques, upselling strategies, and customer engagement best practices.
+ Ensure training content reflects current wireless carrier promotions, device launches, and seasonal sales priorities.
**Field Operations Support**
+ Develop and distribute sales tools and quick-reference materials tailored to the Walmart retail environment.
+ Conduct store visits, remote coaching, and field audits to assess training effectiveness and identify improvement areas.
+ Partner with regional field leadership and Walmart stakeholders to align training execution with store-level expectations and compliance.
**Program Optimization & Reporting**
+ Analyze training performance data and field results to measure effectiveness and adjust strategy.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, HR, Client Services, Wireless Partners) to keep training aligned with business objectives.
+ Maintain documentation and version control for all training materials and updates.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Education, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in sales training, preferably within wireless, retail, or third-party labor programs.
+ 2+ years of experience leading remote or field-based training teams.
+ Strong familiarity with wireless industry products, carrier sales programs, and device ecosystems.
+ Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
+ Ability to travel regionally and nationally up to 30%.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience working with or supporting big box retailers.
+ Knowledge of third-party labor staffing models and sales accountability structures.
+ Certification in training or sales methodologies.
+ Proficiency with digital training tools, mobile LMS platforms, and data reporting tools.
