UHS is actively recruiting a Walk-In Clinical Director. to oversee our two Walk-In Clinic sites. 

Full time position with 4 hours per week administrative duties/36 hours per week clinical duties.  Responsible for administrative and staff meetings, provider oversite, and scheduling. 

Experience in full spectrum medicine for all ages required (including Peds). Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, splints, etc). Previous experience in Walk In Clinic or Urgent Care setting preferred.  

Leading by example and driving clinical outcomes in the walk in clinic setting.  Creates an environment where Walk-in care is considered one of the strengths of UHS, and provides for effective networking with both community agencies and educational institutions to enhance internal and community perception of the Walk-in mission.  Participates in the development of educational programs and by counsel and medical practice establishes standards of performance that are of consistent, high quality.  Develops, monitors and communicates provider clinic work schedules.  Provides active leadership in the absence of clinical director including reviewing patient complaints. Provides direct patient care through scheduled time as a provider in the Walk-in clinics at UHSH

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A licensed MD/DO practicing or able to practice in the State of New York and eligible for membership on the UHS Medical Staff.

2.  Board certified in Family Medicine and experienced in Family medicine, walk in care, urgent care, or emergency medicine.

3. Completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency.

Salary Range: $324,300 - $341,300 annually
