Summary:  

The VP Procurement Operations will lead our global Procurement Operations Centre serving as the backbone of operations execution excellence across the Global Procurement organisation.This role is responsible for ensuring seamless, efficient, and compliant procurement operations while enabling continuous improvement, scalability, and superior customer experience.You will oversee all core procurement operations processes, including Purchase Requisition (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) management, invoice troubleshooting, supplier onboarding and maintenance, procurement helpdesk services, and channel enablement. With a strong service-oriented mindset, you will drive standardisation, process optimisation, operational governance, and best-in-class service delivery.A data-driven and future-focused leader, you will leverage analytics, automation, digital procurement tools, and emerging technologies to advance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.You will build a culture anchored in accountability, quality, innovation, and end-to-end process thinking—ensuring Procurement Operations remains tightly aligned with the global procurement strategy and operates as a strategic business partner.You will lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering strong collaboration across regions and categories. The role requires exceptional stakeholder management, influencing skills, and the ability to communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership. You will create clarity, drive alignment, and ensure sustained business value through operational excellence and service reliability.This is a pivotal leadership role for a dynamic procurement professional who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment and is committed to elevating procurement operations into a world-class, customer-centric capability. 

Key Accountabilities:

Provide strategic direction across procurement service lines, fostering a high-performing, customer-centric culture through coaching, development and promoting accountability and collaboration. Align Procurement Operations to Global Procurement strategic objectives and complianceAccountable for end-to-end delivery of Procurement Operations, ensuring service lines meet SLAs and KPIs, resolving operational issues and driving efficiencies to enhance customer satisfaction.Foster a passion for growth throughout the team and drive progress through continuous improvement initiatives that deliver sustainable value.Establish and maintain strong governance frameworks to ensure procurement processes comply with internal policies, regulatory standards and audit requirements, while safeguarding data and business integrity.Represent Procurement Operations in engagements with internal and external stakeholders, partnering across Procurement, Business Divisions, Finance and Supply Chain to deliver aligned procurement outcomes.Champion a culture of operational excellence by applying Lean and Six Sigma disciplines to reimagine processes, harness automation and embed new technologies that elevate performance and impact.Translate Global Procurement strategy into actionable plans for Procurement Operations, delivering measurable business outcomes through prioritised improvement projects focused on cost savings, process efficiency and operational maturity.Lead change management efforts across procurement transformation initiatives, ensuring stakeholder buy-in, effective communication and smooth adoption of new processes and system. Act as a talent scout, attracting, developing and inspiring the next generation of leaders for GBS and the end-to-end procurement process  

Qualifications & Experience: 

15+ years of experience in procurement with a strong track record in operational procurement and service delivery excellence.Experience working in aerospace or defence sector, in both Indirect and Direct Procurement Track record of leading large, multi-level teams with a focus on talent growth and performance.Hands-on experience with leading procurement systems such as SAP, Coupa and Ivalua, with the ability to drive system adoption and optimization.Understanding of procurement policies, governance frameworks and compliance assessments related to aerospace and defence.Proven track record in implementing Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen and other efficiency programs.Experience in driving digital enablement, automation and innovative service delivery models.Strong stakeholder management capabilities, with experience engaging senior leaders across multiple business units.Proven ability to coach and upskill others committed to delivering quality services with strong internal customer satisfaction.Proven track record in delivering business results and achieving objectives
