As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Vice President of Operations will shape and drive the global operational strategy for OTT HydroMet, ensuring excellence across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sustainability. This is a pivotal role with broad influence, responsible for leading a multi-site operations organization and delivering operational performance that supports long-term growth and innovation.
This role reports directly to the President of OTT HydroMet and collaborates extensively with the senior leadership team.

As Vice President of Operations, you will define and execute the global operations vision, aligning footprint optimization, supply chain resilience, and process excellence with business objectives. You will partner closely with the President and senior leaders, influencing strategic decisions at the highest level. With a global scope, you will lead diverse teams across multiple sites, fostering collaboration and driving best-in-class practices worldwide.
At the same time, you will champion transformation and innovation through continuous improvement, sustainability initiatives, and operational excellence, positioning OTT HydroMet as an industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the operations leader for the company, accountable for performance across manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, quality, EHS & sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Ensure alignment of operations with customer needs, growth objectives, and innovation priorities by closely partnering with Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams to align operational capabilities with business growth strategies.
Drive operational strategy, including footprint and process transformation in supply chain, sourcing, quality.
Lead and develop a high-performing global team of site operations leaders and functional experts while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
Proven Executive Leadership: extensive experience leading global operations in a complex, global multi-site manufacturing environment, min. 15 years (Water); 10 years (Weather)
Strategic Operations Expertise: Deep knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, quality systems, and EHS, with a track record of driving operational excellence.
Transformation & Optimization: Demonstrated success in footprint optimization (must for water), process improvement, and implementing lean manufacturing principles.
Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L management, cost optimization, and capital investment planning.
Change Leadership: Ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Global Perspective: Experience managing diverse teams across regions and navigating international regulations and compliance.
Executive Communication: ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Exposure and direct engagement in M&A especially integration is required.
