Our client, based in Kent County, New Brunswick, is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead a seasonal, resource-based horticulture and agri-industrial operation.
Qualified candidates will bring experience from large-scale agriculture, forestry, bulk materials, or primary processing environments.
This is a high-impact leadership role with full end-to-end operational accountability, driving production, planning, and execution while building the systems and leadership depth needed to deliver reliable results at scale.
VP Operations Job Responsibilities: Full operational leadership of resource handling and value-added production operation Production planning, execution readiness, and capacity optimization Leadership of seasonal workforce scaling and performance management Coordination with ownership-led field, sourcing, and upstream activities Establishment of strong safety, quality, and cost discipline Development of operational structure, processes, and clear accountability Hands-on leadership during peak production and seasonal phases Continuous improvement of execution stability and operational reliability The successful candidate has: Previous experience taking raw input and reliably turning it into a finished product in a high-volume operation, especially during busy or seasonal periods 5+ years proven experience scaling production in complex operations Hands-on leader comfortable being present on the floor during critical periods Strong execution mindset with the ability to lead under pressure High standards for safety, quality, cost control, and people leadership Practical and accountable management style Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary range is $130,000– $150,000pa depending on experience Pension Plan Bonuses 4 weeks’ vacation Comprehensive benefits package Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
