VP of Sales
We’re looking for a Vice President of Sales in the building materials industry.

Our client is a leader in the building materials space, delivering high-quality products and solutions across North America. With a strong focus on service, innovation, and long-term partnerships, this organization values integrity, team success, and forward-thinking strategies. The Vice President of Sales will play a critical role in accelerating growth across Canada and the U.S. by leading strategic sales efforts and building lasting client relationships.

Vice President of Sales responsibilities: Lead and manage a national sales team across Canadian and U.S. markets Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue and expand market share Mentor and coach sales leaders and representatives to ensure continuous improvement and results Identify and secure new business opportunities aligned with company goals Cultivate and manage key client relationships and negotiate high-value contracts Collaborate with internal departments to optimize the customer experience and streamline operations Analyze sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions Represent the organization at industry events, trade shows, and key networking opportunities
The successful candidate has: 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a proven track record in driving growth Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (MBA preferred but not required) Experience managing cross-border teams and client relationships (Canada and the U.S.) Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills A deep understanding of CRM systems and sales reporting tools Knowledge of the building materials, flooring, or construction (residential homes) industries is considered an asset
Compensation and benefits: The discussed salary is $150,000, plus generous bonus program (up to 60% target). Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered. Comprehensive benefits package $1,000 per month car allowance Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Only candidates selected to move forward in the hiring process will be contacted.
