The Vice President of Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) is an integral member of both the Residential and Americas Region ISC Leadership teams and serves as a key operations strategy partner.\u202F\u00A0\u00A0


This Leader will have strategic accountability to plan, organize, staff and direct all activities of multiple facilities within the region to achieve plant and sector goals for safety, quality, growth, profitability, productivity, customer satisfaction and employee engagement. \u202FThis key role will also direct production and plant operations across these sites to ensure the effective utilization of resources as well as continue to assess footprint to ensure long-range capacity and competitiveness are being achieved.\u202F


The position is responsible for leading operations partnerships around manufacturing strategy, annual and long-range financial planning including investments and operational across the multi-site plant portfolio for the business. Under their leadership, they will be key in the implementation of manufacturing and ISC transformations for the business.\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0


The position is a direct report to the President of the Residential Business Unit with a matrix relationship to the Regional VP of Integrated Supply Chain Americas.\u00A0


Principal Responsibilities\u00A0

Serve as a strategic partner for the Residential and Americas ISC Leadership Teams as well as their respective plants leadership teams to enable operations solutions to best drive and deliver business growth, operational effectiveness, and productivity targets\u00A0Provide strategic leadership and oversight across multiple locations, for functions including Manufacturing, Materials, Production Control, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Planning, Human Resources, Accounting, Manufacturing, Engineering and Environmental, Health & Safety to assure common direction toward plant goals\u00A0Across respective sites under their leadership, effectively guide and support both Environmental Health & Safety(EHS) programs and practices, as well as plant quality systems in procedures and controls to improve customer satisfaction, quality, first pass yield and warranty results\u00A0Across respective sites under their leadership, effectively guide and support plant maintenance, facilities and Manufacturing Engineering improvements, process modifications, facility improvements and capital expenditures, and plant resources in meeting material and labor productivity plans\u00A0Be proactive and responsive to all facets of customer satisfaction including delivery, schedule changes and special instructions\u00A0Serve as a Lean Leader that insists on a continuous improvement and simplification approach to important processes.\u00A0 Lead through the Trane Technologies Business Operating System (BOS)\u00A0Direct the development and submittal of the Annual Operating Plan and business financial forecasts and response plans for their respective plant portfolio\u00A0Partner with the Operational Excellence team to develop and deliver training on a lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices, including structured problem solving, leader coaching, Kanban/pull systems, Kaizen, value stream mapping, visual management, mistake-proofing, 5S, and cellular manufacturing.\u00A0\u00A0Direct and guide the long-term product strategy for the manufacturing business\u00A0Collaborate with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment of goals and progress towards them along with short-term and long-term needs and plans\u00A0Foster a culture of talent development that focuses on enhancing employees' skills, knowledge, and abilities to drive organizational success and ensure talent sustainability in the organization.\u00A0\u00A0Maintain a positive rapport with all levels of the organization to foster and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment, high levels of morale, and employee engagement\u00A0

Candidate Profile\u00A0

Bachelor\u2019s degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline is required, MBA preferred\u00A0High level of leadership experience within a fortune 500 company, supporting manufacturing and operations required and a minimum of 15 years in a manufacturing/plant operations leadership role, preferably as plant manager of a medium-to-large manufacturing plant to ensure a deep product and process knowledge base\u00A0Strong organizational and large organization leadership experience including demonstrated talent attraction, leadership development, strategic competencies and capability builds, and sustainable current-state skills development. Unquestioned integrity and character\u00A0Ability to develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with Business Unit (BU), Regional, and Enterprise goals.\u00A0\u00A0Strong technical problem-solving skills, along with proven ability to connect tactical solutions to plant specific objectives.\u00A0Ability to partner with multiple plant leadership teams to collaboratively drive Lean process within an operational excellence culture.\u00A0Demonstrated capability to effectively lead and develop large operations teams.\u00A0\u00A0Strong understanding of finance and capital investment planning rules and processes\u00A0Comfortable and effective working with all organizational levels in a heavily matrixed organization environment\u00A0Possess excellent organization and time management skills to be able to handle several assignments at one time and work in matrix organization and work effectively in an environment of continuous change & improvement\u00A0Demonstrated track record of building trust and operating effectively within a dynamic and changing organization.\u00A0\u00A0Exceptional interpersonal, influencing and communication skills with ability to flex between working level and most senior executives with credibility, clarity, and effectiveness\u00A0
