Description Job Title: Vice President of Finance Location: Greenspoint Area, Houston, TX (Fully In-Office) Travel: Up to 30% (Domestic & International) Our client, a rapidly growing private equity-backed company headquartered in the Greenspoint area, is seeking a dynamic Vice President of Finance to join their expanding leadership team. This is a newly created and highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and designed to support the organization through its next phase of aggressive growth. Key Responsibilities: + Act as a strategic partner and right-hand to the CFO, helping to lead financial decision-making and execution. + Lead corporate and field-level financial planning and analysis (FP& A) efforts, including budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling. + Build and maintain advanced financial models to support operational initiatives, capital allocation, and strategic planning. + Collaborate with operations teams to align financial goals with business performance across multiple field locations and corporate functions. + Drive key insights and recommendations through comprehensive financial analysis. + Contribute to the development of long-term strategic plans and support M& A initiatives as needed. + Support cash management, liquidity forecasting, and other treasury-related activities. + Deliver executive-level reporting and presentations to senior leadership, board members, and external stakeholders. + Participate in the development of internal controls, process improvements, and evolving financial systems and infrastructure. + Stay actively engaged with accounting to ensure decisions align with US GAAP and internal policy. + Travel up to 30% to visit field locations and support international initiatives. Requirements Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred. + Strong foundation in accounting and US GAAP. + 7+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally in high-growth environments. + Significant experience in financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, and operational finance. + Prior experience with a Big 4 or regional public accounting firm + CPA, CMA, CIA, or other relevant certification(s). + Demonstrated success working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, evolving organization. + Exceptional communication and presentation skills; must be comfortable presenting to executives and board members. + Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt responsibilities as the business evolves.
