Description Highly successful hospitality and retail company with headquarters located in Eastern Morris County, NJ is seeking a VP of Accounting and Finance. Candidate will be the KEY Finance & Accounting person responsible for day to day accounting activities, preparing store level financial statements, supervising the staff, and working with outside banks and auditors as well. Must be able to multitask and work well with the family ownership of this entrepreneurial firm. Will prepare cash flow models, financial statements along with handling banking compliance. Looking for strong LEADERSHIP skills with the upside to be CFO here in a few years as well. MUST have experience in either the Hospitality (Hotels), Restaurant (Prefer Franchised) or Real Estate (strip malls / multi facility retail) industry. Company develops and owns their hotel and retail locations so any real estate development experience would be a plus as well. Should have strong supervisory and leadership experience. Must have 10+ years of Controllership type experience in a Mid-Size company and a CPA is highly preferred as well. Must have the presentation and polish to present to Sr. level leadership. Company offers a competitive salary in the $200-225K range plus a very generous bonus and good benefits. Nice office location and expect candidates to be ONSITE in the office 5 days a week.
