Overview
The Vice President, Deputy Director of Program Management (VPPM) is a leadership-level role responsible for guiding public sector clients through the planning, design, and execution of justice-related capital projects. This position provides high-level advisory services for detention facilities, courthouses, public safety campuses, and criminal justice initiatives, acting as a strategic partner to government agencies, elected officials, and community stakeholders. The VPPM is a trusted advisor with deep knowledge of justice operations, design, and construction, and a track record of delivering complex capital programs in a politically sensitive environment. This is a client-facing role that demands exceptional communication, facilitation, and program management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Construction, Architecture, or Engineering is required. 10-12 years of progressive experience in large-scale construction program and/or project management. 5+ years in a leadership or supervisory role. Demonstrated experience managing complex public sector capital projects. Experience with justice facilities is highly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. Experience with Procore, SmartPM, or Primavera (P6) is a plus. Certifications in Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Construction Manager (CCM), or Project Management Professional (PMP) are Preferred.
