VP Business Development

**DESCRIPTION**
The Vice President of Business Development is a critical role in achieving the company's growth objectives. This position is responsible for driving new business development initiatives, helping prepare budgets, and creating comprehensive business plans.
In this role, the VP of Business Development will lead efforts to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including market expansion and strategic partnerships. The VP will develop and implement business development strategies that align with the company's vision and objectives, ensuring sustainable growth and a competitive market position.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Drive business development for HQ Sales Agency, working closely with corporate and local business development teams in NWA.
+ Develop a process for identifying potential clients for HQ and other value-added services.
+ Develop a plan for trade shows, local events, website/SEO, targeted email/phone outreach, etc., aligned with the marketing strategy referenced below.
+ Collaborate with leadership on the annual new business revenue plan.
+ Lead seamless onboarding and early delivery of new clients and work, coordinating with partners as relevant (WMT HQ Team, CDMs, VPGMs, etc.).
+ Enable revenue growth through marketing, cross-selling, and new services.
+ Productize Acosta Group’s Walmart services (including service definition, value proposition, pricing, target brands).
+ Present Acosta Group's Walmart products to internal stakeholders (CDMs, VPGMs, etc.).
+ Establish a marketing strategy (who to target, what methods, roles, etc.).
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Proven leadership and management experience.
+ Broad multi-market/national experience.
+ Experience in contract renegotiation.
+ Strong analytical ability with fiscal and budgeting experience.
+ Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, including the ability to conduct presentations and negotiate.
+ Assertive, creative, team player with a sense of urgency.
**Experience:**
+ Bachelor's degree required.
+ 10+ years of CPG industry experience in sales, insights, and/or marketing.
+ 5+ years of Sales Agency / Broker leadership experience.
