VP, Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff
**Description** **POSITION OVERVIEW:** The VP, Strategic Initiatives and Chief of Staff is a key role that supports the Chief Digital & Marketing Officer in managing the creation and execution of the strategy, prioritization, and overall transformation efforts at ELC. This role is a strategic thinker and a strong communicator. This role requires a solid understanding of the overall business as well as ELC’s strategy. This is a highly visible role and requires strong collaboration skills across various teams. This includes areas such as capability building, process optimization, and leading key strategic projects (i.e. Beauty Reimagined, Enterprise Business Services, Media Transformation & Online growth strategies.) **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:** On behalf of the CDMO, this role is a strategic thought partner and operationalizes key projects and activities across Marketing, Creative & Digital Commerce to ensure that systems, processes, and people are aligned and integrated to achieve key deliverables and outcomes. **Leadership** - As a representative of the CDMO, this position requires a strategic thinker who can develop action plans, "connect the dots", execute activities to achieve the goals and deliver required results throughout the organziation.  Goals are achieved largely by influencing stakeholders across the organization.  This role will share best practices across Brands, Regions and Functions and build collaborative relationships throughout. **Strategy–** Help lead the foresight and strategy as a thought partner to the CDMO, creating frameworks and presentations for CEO, BOD, Executive Team Meetings, and external presentations. **Beauty Reimagined** – Help lead the critical thinking and implementation actions for Marketing/Creative/Digital Commerce’s contributions to all Beauty Reimagined initiatives and pillars. **Program Management –** Partner with the Leadership Team to build the transformation roadmap and deploy program management capabilities to lead strategic workstreams. **Governance:** Set governance and meeting cadence for the CDMO and the leadership team. This includes monthly LT meetings, meetings with the Executive Chairman and CEO, etc. Develop the agenda and manage recap and follow ups. Ensure CDMO is well prepared for key meetings and stakeholder management (pre-alignment meetings as needed, pre-reads, etc.).
