We are seeking an accomplished sales professional to pursue new equity plan administration opportunities. As a Vice President of Sales, this individual will be instrumental in expanding our market presence through a network of relationships with finance, legal and HR executives, equity plan administration professionals, consultants, and other influencers. This individual will be responsible for growing business in a designated territory and working with internal business partners to promote multi-practice opportunities with an emphasis on private companies with an emphasis on near term IPO companies.

 

What you are good at:

Developing and closing a pipeline of private companiesCultivating and maintaining influential relationships with executives in finance, legal, HR, and stock plan administration, as well as industry consultants and centers of influenceGenerating and executing a strategic, long-term acquisition plan for prospectsIdentifying and helping advance multi-practice prospects with equity compensation, 401k, deferred compensation, and wealth management needsIsolating the buying criteria, issues, and needs of respective prospects and alignment to distinct buyersCollaborating with and motivating internal and external business partners throughout the sales process to develop a complete solution for equity plan and multi-practice prospectsCoordinating and delivering quality team sales presentations that are cohesive, compelling, and persuasiveLeading prospect negotiations in coordination with pertinent partners to gain commitment and ensure accurate and successful contractingAnalyzing sales data and performance metrics to understand the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvementSupporting local, national, and international equity related organizations and events What you have

Required Qualifications

Self-motivated, optimistic, enthusiastic individual who demonstrates a high degree of personal integrity, resilience, and honestyExhibits professionalism, confidence, accountability, and respect for others with each interactionSales focus and a history of exceeding expectationsExcellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills5+ years equity compensation sales experienceDemonstrable record of accomplishment of success in equity compensation salesDeep understanding of the equity compensation marketplace, plans, and administrationExperience working with C-suite level executives   Possess a solution and service-oriented attitude when dealing with varying situations, circumstances, and peopleInnate curiosity and drive for continuous improvementCreative and strategic thinking with the ability to prioritize activities and adhere to defined procedures and timelinesEffective presentation skills, including the use of technology to communicate topics in clear, easy to understand termsWillingness to travel (overnight) to markets within and beyond a designated territory

Preferred Qualifications

Series 7 and 63 licenses or a willingness to acquireCertified Equity Professional (CEP) designation or a willingness to acquire
