**The Team:** The Global Insights business is a leader in Supply Chain, Risk Management and Maritime information and services. The business is truly global and the technology team is also spread across hubs in North America, EMEA and Asia. The business partner closely with technology to deliver industry differentiated data and software to a rapidly changing geopolitical environment.
**Responsibilities and Impact**
+ Define and execute comprehensive technology strategy for Global Insights, driving scalable, secure, and AI-powered platforms that directly support business revenue goals and client satisfaction across global markets
+ Lead and inspire a distributed organization of 300+ engineers across Poland, North America, and India, fostering engineering excellence through modern cloud architecture, automation, and data-driven delivery practices
+ Partner strategically with Product, Commercial, and executive leadership to shape technology roadmaps that create measurable commercial impact and position Global Insights as an industry innovation leader
+ Drive organizational transformation through platform engineering, continuous delivery, and AI-augmented workflows that accelerate developer productivity and time-to-market for critical business initiatives
+ Build and maintain strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and key technology vendors, negotiating enterprise-level agreements and co-innovation opportunities that deliver competitive advantages
+ Develop next-generation engineering leaders across the global organization through structured coaching, succession planning, and modern technology capability building in cloud-native, data platforms, and secure development practices
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, with 12+ years of progressive technology leadership experience including 5+ years managing large-scale engineering organizations (100+ engineers)
+ Proven track record leading distributed technology teams across multiple geographies, with demonstrated success in building high-performing engineering cultures and delivering complex, enterprise-grade software platforms
+ Deep expertise in modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar providers, with hands-on experience in microservices architecture, containerization technologies (including but not limited to Docker, Podman, or containerd), and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or OpenShift
+ Strong background in data platform technologies including big data processing frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or equivalent tools, data warehousing solutions like Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or similar platforms, and experience with AI/ML technologies including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or comparable frameworks
+ Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, or similar automation platforms, and CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent deployment solutions
+ Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders, managing P&L responsibilities, and translating complex technical concepts into business value propositions
+ Fluency in English, demonstrating ability to work effectively across global time zones and with teams having a global mindset
