**THE OPPORTUNITY**
The primary function of this position is to ensure the safety and security of executive leadership, which includes protective transportation and physical security measures. Based in Los Angeles, this position also supports the overall Corporate Security team by assisting with the “day-to-day” activities of the Corporate Security department related to the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to the organization’s physical security program, policies and procedures in compliance with federal and state laws and the organization’s security practices. This position will work closely with Fraud Risk, Legal and HR to conduct and manage investigations across all physical assets. Provides oversight and works cross-functionally on all suspected, alleged, or known fraud investigations against the Bank and its customers. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
**HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE**
+ Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of executive leadership through proactive risk assessment, protective strategies, and coordination of secure travel and work environments.
+ May accompany executive leadership on domestic and international trips, adapting security protocols to varying environments and dynamic risk profiles as needed.
+ Conducts advance site visits to assess local threats, coordinate logistics, and liaise with regional law enforcement or private security as needed.
+ Manages secure transportation arrangements, including route planning, vehicle selection, and contingency measures for rapid evacuation if required.
+ Monitors evolving geopolitical, health, and environmental risks at travel destinations to ensure ongoing safety for executives.
+ Facilitates real-time communication between executive teams, security personnel, and relevant authorities during travel.
+ Develops post-travel reports to evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and recommend improvements for future assignments.
+ Partner and influence across the organization to achieve work completion through individuals not under Corporate Security direct control. Demonstrated strong leadership and management skills and the ability to secure results through others.
+ Develops and implements approved security policies and procedures and ensures compliance with regulations through established policies and procedures and makes recommendations for changes and improvements.
+ Manage the identification, implementation and maintenance of the organization security practices, standards and procedures.
+ Works with business units and management to ensure the appropriate design of security systems for corporate locations, bank branches and offices.
+ Functions as primary interface between law enforcement agencies (FBI, Police), bank management and engages in incident response, information gathering and reporting.
+ Ensures management of the access systems and alarm system programs, including coordinating system- level and maintenance programming and arranging for repairs.
+ Conducts physical security assessments of the organization’s critical assets and locations.
+ Provides training on security issues to employees.
+ Provide project management support to projects involving physical security (process, programs and systems).
+ Responds to a variety of physical security incidents including unauthorized access, security alarms, and potential breaches and bank robberies.
+ Partners with Fraud Risk to conduct investigations related to external and internal fraud.
+ Works with HR and Legal to investigate and conduct employee interviews related to possible violations of Banc of California’s Security/HR/Finance policies, Code of Conduct, and other business conditions.
+ Provide appropriate reports to management summarizing the findings.
+ Conduct investigations and other research to identify process deficiencies which could allow inappropriate business conduct and recommend protocols and policies to address those weaknesses.
+ Involved with interviewing and hiring decisions.
+ Identifies and escalates security risks and vulnerabilities.

The employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations and orders issued pursuant to the OSHA Act of 1970, which are applicable to one’s own actions and conduct.
+ Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**
+ At least 10+ years of law enforcement, military or related experience and/or training.
+ Must consist of oversight and administration of physical security for large institutions, preferably banking institutions.
+ Must be an enthusiastic individual who drives the physical security program across the bank.
+ Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential situations effectively.
+ Must be able to effectively interact with outside law enforcement agencies (FBI, Police, etc.).
+ Demonstrated organization, facilitation, communication and presentation skills.
+ Experience managing projects or programs to achieve information privacy objectives.
+ Willing to respond 24/7 to emergency situations.
+ Ability to regularly travel and accompany executives during both standard and irregular hours to accommodate various travel requirements.

**SALARY RANGE**
The base salary ultimately offered is determined through a review of education, industry experience, training, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant in alignment with market data and other factors.
