Develop and train our Claim Director (and aspiring Claim Director) level adjusters as it relates to all aspects of large/complex loss handling and reporting.
Ensure that our Claim Directors on a technical career path consistently handle losses across all lines of business (Best Practices, Recovery/Subrogation, Reporting).
Deliver service-focused, continued development to the teams to ensure that the longer-tailed claims with these groups start off with and continue through the end, with service to the client in focus.
Focus on all aspects of large loss handling, including balancing time/travel/task management.
Provide consistency in large loss reporting and related tools such as Signal Reserves, Claims Reporting Hub, and EWS (Early Warning System).
Build repeatable training using real-time claims examples to develop staff, leveraging EGAs' experience and skill sets to support training.
Develop and track metrics specific to these developing employees, including a Claim Director rotational development plan. Focus will be not only on employee development but also on demonstrating that development and readiness for the next steps along the technical career path.
Provide training on exposure recognition and reporting.
Conduct field ride-alongs as part of training observations around scoping, experts/consultants management, and client communications.
Coordinate with Property Chief Technical Officer Team, Onboarding New Hire Trainer, and Property Estimation Trainer for coordinated year-round planning.
Working with the Large Loss Trainer, deliver uniform, initial coverage training on all Personal Lines HO policies, inclusive of common endorsements, flood, non-MP venues, WSG PL, and Platinum contracts.
Working with the Large Loss Trainer, deliver uniform coverage training on commercial coverage, including Small Commercial, Benchmarq, and Customarq.
Utilize data tools such as ClaimSmart and Management Insights to track key metrics such as inventory, closing ratio, cycle time, aged pending, and average paid, to be reported on each month to measure changes/improvement.
Work closely with the EGA manager to leverage the EGA team's experience and expertise for mentoring, training, and development, as well as ad hoc coverage reviews.
If geography and time allow, arrange ride-alongs with the EGA team to support technical development.
Close coordination/contact with all RDMs to ensure proper staffing across the country for claims intake.

Strong knowledge and interpretation of all our Personal Lines Homeowners, Small Commercial, Benchmarq and Customarq coverage forms.
Strong Property Insurance claims background, both personal and commercial lines.
Experienced in all claim platforms: Vision, Care, Connect, ABIZ, PLS, CUW.
Strong background in communications and client service / strong survey results.
Large loss experience.
Prior experience in leading a Complex group of adjusters.
10+ years in Property Claims.
Compliance and regulatory experience in all 50 states.
The pay range for the role is $170,000 to $250,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
