As an Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) – Private Wealth Services, you have the unique opportunity to center your work around development and growth – for your clients, your team, and yourself. In collaboration with, and under the guidance of two Branch Managers in Private Wealth Services, you will develop and implement a comprehensive local business plan focused on assisting the mission to reach, retain and grow in our ultra-high-net worth segment ($10M+). As a branch leader, you will coach a driven team of branch professionals, attending to performance management and employee engagement. 

As an ABM, you are on a direct path to become a Branch Manager in the local Branch Network, on a Centralized team or Private Wealth Services, a critical leader role within our Investor Services organization, which is responsible for helping individuals and families with their financial goals, including retirement planning, charitable giving, estate planning, active investing or managing banking and lending needs. What you have

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experienceA valid and active Series 7 license requiredA valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license requiredA valid and active Series 9/10 (8) license required (may be obtained within a 90-day condition of employment)A valid and active Life and Health Insurance license (may be obtained within a 120-day condition of employment)Since this is a development role, those that are hired into his position need to be flexible to relocate across the network when a manager role becomes available.

Preferred Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years in the financial services industry with leadership experience preferredAbility to provide ongoing employee coaching, development, and recognitionDemonstrated business development experience with a strong drive for resultsPassion to focus on retention and development of top talent through coaching, performance management, and employee engagement. Openness to build and deepen relationships with clients, within the community and across Schwab to achieve desired resultsCFP®, CPWA®, and/or CWS®designation is preferredStrong brokerage and industry knowledge
