Voyage Optimizer
Air Swift
Our client, a major Oil and gas company, is looking for a Voyage Optimizer to work on a long term contract in Spring, TX.
Principal Duties: Scheduling and optimizing Spot and TC vessels, (typically MRs) exporting products out of the US Gulf and global imports into North America Spearheading scheduling and optimization of crude and multi-commodity cargoes across NW Europe, Middle East, US Gulf Coast, and East Canada, delivering value through co-lift alignment, vessel swaps, speed/transit optimization, and disport rotation strategies. Leading complex, multilingual discussions with major crude suppliers and service providers, partnered with Commercial Trading to support the Refinery. Facilitate cross-functional alignment among Commercial Trading, Freight Trading, and vessel brokers/owners to ensure timely cargo movements; cultivated long-term business relationships across internal and external stakeholders Requirement Bachelor’s degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years of Commercial Oil & Gas experience Understanding of bulk hydrocarbon marine logistics; Knowledge of vessel operations Demonstrated experience in effective two-way communication with internal and external customers (oral, written, presentation, listening) Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must have strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy Strong drive and motivation; strong continuous improvement mindset Solid proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) Capability to learn systems/platforms to extract data for analysis Able to work with diverse group of individuals; effectively manages external relationships Promotes productive impact across organizations; seeks value-added improvements in the supply chain Able to condense data and trends into succinct conclusions and recommendations, it written and verbal formats Strong communications and organizational, and analytical skills Responsive to changing priorities
