Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Volunteer Coordinator
As a Volunteer Coordinator at MercyOne, you will manage and coordinate all volunteer activities for Genesis Hospice. Recruit, train, develop, and retain volunteers by providing a supportive environment. Serves as a liaison between Genesis Hospice, administration, hospice staff, families and the community. Take an active role in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
**Position Title:** Volunteer Coordinator
**Department:** Hospice
**Schedule:**
+ Full time 1.0 (40 hours per week)
+ Monday - Friday
+ 8am - 4:30pm
**General Requirements**
+ Valid Driver's License: Valid Auto Insurance-Genesis minimum limits required; Current professional licensure in IA and IL (if applicable)
+ More than 1 year experience required
+ Training Preferred: Word processing at 40wpm, data collection, Microsoft publisher
**Education:**
+ 4-year college/university degree or equivalent experience
+ Field OF Study: Nursing, Healthcare, Social Work or related field
