\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\nForecast Daily/Weekly Volumes – Analyze historical data, seasonality trends, and customer inputs to project inbound and outbound volumes.
\n\n\nCapacity Planning – Align forecasted volumes with warehouse capacity, labor availability, and resource planning to ensure smooth operations.
\n\n\nCustomer Coordination – Collaborate with key customers and planning teams to understand upcoming volume spikes, new product launches, or promotions.
\n\n\nData Analysis & Reporting – Prepare and circulate volume dashboards, deviation reports, and demand vs actual performance trackers.
\n\n\nManpower & Shift Planning Support – Assist operations teams in planning manpower and shifts based on forecasted workload.
\n\n\nException & Risk Management – Highlight potential volume surges, constraints, or resource shortages and suggest mitigation plans.
\n\n\nSystem & Tool Utilization – Use WMS, SAP, or planning tools to extract data and generate accurate forecasts.
\n\n\nDrive Process Improvement – Identify gaps in volume visibility and proactively improve forecasting accuracy and planning reliability.
