What you’ll do

 

As the leader of our Network & Infrastructure Government Affairs team, you’ll be at the heart of VodafoneThree’s mission to build the UK’s best network. You’ll drive strategic lobbying efforts, influence policy, and champion our infrastructure rollout as a cornerstone of national connectivity and economic growth. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact—both within our business and across the country.

 

In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind our government affairs strategy, working cross-functionally to remove barriers and unlock opportunities for network expansion.

 

You’ll lead and manage a high-performing team focused on government affairs for network and infrastructure.You’ll design and deliver lobbying campaigns that align with our corporate goals and infrastructure delivery plans.You’ll develop a long-term strategy to position VodafoneThree’s infrastructure as vital to national progress.You’ll build a repository of policy proof points, case studies, and data to support our advocacy efforts.You’ll craft a compelling public affairs narrative that supports our vision of “Building the UK’s best Network.”You’ll collaborate with our Network team to translate rollout data into impactful lobbying materials.You’ll manage budgets and ensure timely, cost-effective execution of all engagement activities.You’ll monitor and report on lobbying performance, adapting strategies based on feedback and policy shifts.You’ll work closely with colleagues across Government Affairs to deliver a unified and effective strategy.

 

Who you are 

 

Strategic leader with experience managing internal stakeholders and external agencies.Proven track record in government affairs within a regulated, consumer-facing business.Deep understanding of public affairs and a strong external network.Insight into the political, regulatory, and media landscape—locally and nationally.Tech-savvy with awareness of current trends and how to leverage them.Skilled in programme management and cross-functional coordination.Analytical thinker who can identify strategic developments and advise on reputational impact.Experienced in team and budget management, delivering results on time.Exceptional lobbying and influencing skills.Inclusive leader with a growth mindset, fostering innovation and driving transformation.
