GENERAL ROLE
The role of VM Coordinator is to ensure the quality and maintain the consistency of visual merchandising across the Hermès boutiques. The position requires an ability to merge commercial and aesthetic concerns in the improvement of the boutique's appearance, the elevation of the client's shopping experience, and the development of strategic merchandising plans to further the growth of the boutique. He/she will work strategically with related stakeholders to execute visual merchandising initiatives to drive and maximize sales potential. The individual will deliver in-store visual merchandising support and training.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Visual Merchandising
Create and Execute VM for all professions, and creatively create cross-VM opportunities For busy trading periods to maintain the general environment of the stores where necessary Regularly roll-out seasonal merchandise in stores based on global VM Guidelines Implement the highest promotion for all Hermès boutiques by creativity and quality-oriented displays based on global guidelines Work closely and report to Hermès International VM Department Represent and conveys the company values and spirits into the stores Integrated working with merchandising team through selective display of products Work closely with other departments with the purpose of achieving good results Deliver VM Guidelines and perception changes Provide VM guidelines and hands on skill to each store through e-mail and on site
2. Training
Train retail teams on VM guidelines to ensure seamless store operations Prepare and update VM training materials to support ongoing team development Plans both regular and ad hoc training sessions, incorporating creative approaches for seasonal products and VM standards
3. POS
Calculate and order visual tools for new store Suggest being modified the store layout for better atmosphere List up POS, place orders, and monitors delivery Consolidate and submits 'Store opening-VM report (feedback)' to International VM department Check and list-up PLV regularly in terms of shortage, also order and allocate them accordingly
4. Other duties
Assist in executing visual merchandising strategies for special events, including seasonal launches, press presentations and promotional activations, etc. Management of flower arrangements by store
5. Reporting
Provide regular reports and in - store photographs to maintain ongoing, regular communication regarding visual merchandising progress, best practices, challenges, or other responses to strategic business needs Regular VM reports, linking VM to performance/Sales and traffic Submission of any VM reports or information as requested by the Region or Paris
REQUIREMENTS & CAPABILITIES
At least 3 years of professional experience in visual merchandising including minimum 1 year of Hermès experience A strong track record of delivering good results Strong design sense and knowledge of materials is an advantage Strong organization and communication skills and the ability to work closely with employees at different levels Attention to detail is essential to the role. A strong creative instinct with the ability to express the style and values of the House is necessary. Computer literacy, Microsoft Office skills, presentation skills Good spoken and written level of English
