The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for servicing Walt Disney World by managing visual merchandising projects, creating and executing planograms, coordinating logistics for product movement, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective merchandising and communication.
This is an onsite position based out of Lake Buena Vista, FL.
You will report to the Manager, Visual Merchandising.
Responsibilities/You Will:
+ Support daily operations across assigned locations, including merchandising for multiple locations and events.
+ Prioritize tasks and apply business insights to support key performance indicators and sound decision-making.
+ Maintain and execute floor set schedules, window installations, signage rollouts, and store development calendars.
+ Ensure timely completion of deliverables aligned with strategic plans and daily business needs.
+ Implement and uphold visual merchandising standards, including product placement, adjacencies, photo documentation, and window displays.
+ Participate in and support all floor sets and merchandise initiatives, including propping and execution.
+ Contribute to creative planning for location interiors and window displays.
+ Communicate effectively with cross-functional partners (e.g., Location Strategy, Operations, vendors) to coordinate merchandise logistics and calendar priorities.
+ Action feedback from location walks to enhance strategic planning and visual standards.
+ Organize and maintain visual merchandising assets, including hardware, fixtures, and offsite storage.
+ Partner with Operations to train teams and uphold visual standards and guidelines.
+ Manage delivery schedules to ensure timely execution of merchandising plans.
+ Work independently with moderate guidance and provide informal support to team members.
+ Adhere to all company policies, practices, and procedures.
+ Work occasional overnights, weekends, and holidays based on project needs.
Basic Qualifications/You Have:
+ 2+ years of experience in retail and visual merchandising, including hands-on execution of floor sets and a strong understanding of store operations.
+ Skilled in planogram development and preparation of visual directive documentation.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
+ Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ Valid US driver’s license with flexibility to travel as needed.
+ Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Education:
+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
