Summary:

The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for driving sales and enhancing the customer experience through compelling visual presentation and strong adherence to brand standards. This role ensures consistent visual execution across, through regular walkthroughs, merchandising updates, and ongoing team training.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Lacoste brand, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to lead in-store teams on visual best practices. This role reports to the Regional Visual Manager (RVM) and may support additional retail or wholesale projects as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Visual Standards & Execution

Execute Lacoste’s visual merchandising guidelines at the Sawgrass location. Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure the shop maintains brand standards. Implement seasonal floor sets and product launches in alignment with corporate direction. Update floorplans and store photography after each floor changes.

In-Store Visual Maintenance

Maintain mannequins and in-store displays regularly. Place new products upon arrival and ensure proper placement by category and flow. Keep back-of-house (BOH) visual areas organized and stocked with needed props and supplies.

Team Collaboration & Communication

Lead weekly “visual talks” with store staff to train and reinforce visual standards. Serve as the visual liaison between the corporate team and store operations, providing feedback on product, layout, and customer insights. Submit weekly recaps with before/after photos to the RVM for review and documentation.

Project Support

Assist with regional events and special projects as assigned. Monitor and report on competitor merchandising and marketing trends in the local market. Support store sales floor as needed during peak periods or events.

Profile Requirements/Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of visual merchandising experience, preferably in a boutique or fashion retail environment.Strong visual eyes with excellent attention to detail.Outstanding communication and collaboration skills; experience in corporate-facing roles preferred.Demonstrated leadership ability with the skills to train and motivate store teams.Highly organized and proactive with strong time management skills.Passionate about fashion, retail, and delivering an elevated customer experience.Sporting Spirit – must possess a competitive drive and a results-oriented mindset
