Visual Merchandiser, New Stores
The Visual Merchandiser - New Store Projects is responsible for the coordination of new and remodel store projects and must ensure seamless project execution and turnover to the Field New Store Opening Team to support the Skechers brand in all company-owned stores.

The role is responsible for mapping out all new store projects to maximize sales revenue and to showcase product that aligns with the company’s key initiatives and localized market and climate demographics. The role also ensures that each new store receives all relevant Visual and Marketing collateral in stores and on time, while serving as the primary point of contact for the new store opening team.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESULTS-

Marketing + Merchandise Planogram Creation:  Prepare and update planograms for all new and remodel store projects, ensuring brand representation is maintained and visually consistent.Coordinate Graphic Rollouts: Works closely with the Graphics department to develop initial visual and graphic supply orders for all new stores, remodels and relocated stores.Lead SILA Process: Oversees the SILA process from inception to execution to ensure all deadlines are met.Complete New Store Orders: Oversee initial visual and marketing supply and graphic orders to create a cohesive and elevated visual merchandising strategy for all new, expansion, and relocation stores.Create + Fulfill Tool Kits: Create, maintain and adjust the prepackaged store visual and marketing kits to ensure timely deliveries to stores.Monitor New Store Project Process: Review nightly recaps for each store and reviews all new store opening photos to ensure all standards are being met. Reports findings to the new store opening teams.Maintain + Meet Deadlines: Develops, maintains, and communicates timelines and calendars to ensure all deadlines and due dates are met.New Store Efficiencies: with the Department Manager and Director to establish best practices and ways to streamline new store openings and costs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS-

Ability to Prioritize: Able to effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Self-Motivated and Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage administrative tasks with attention to detail.Excellent Time Management: Proven ability to stay organized and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective Communication Skills: Ability to effectively articulate ideas and concepts clearly and accurately to cross-functional partners.Experience with Visual Merchandising Documentation: Basic understanding of visual merchandising concepts and the ability to organize and maintain related documentation, including floor plans, graphics, and marketing materials.Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to review and update floor plans and store layouts accurately, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines while maintaining an understanding of the limitations with graphic displays.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE-

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a focus on retail merchandising, retail planning, or visual merchandising.Experience: 4+ years of experience preferred in visual merchandising, space planning, assortment planning, or product presentation, preferably with a multi-channel and or vertical retailer.Print Production: Demonstrated skill in the production of printed materials.Time Management: Excellent follow-up and time-management skills.Computer Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook; advanced Excel skills required. Basic knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign is a plus.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reports, updates, and presentations.

The pay range for this position is $70,000-$80,000.
