Job DescriptionYOUR TASKS
These roles involve inspecting and repairing tires in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Both positions require attention to quality standards, use of tools and computer systems, and strong troubleshooting skills. Employees must be team-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible with shift work and overtime.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Inspect green and finished tires for visual defects and reroute or mark as neededPerform major tire repairs, including cutting, trimming, and buffing with hand toolsRead and follow specifications, instructions, and quality requirementsOperate computer systems, scanning devices, gauging tools, and control panels (automatic and manual)Work to meet or exceed individual production goals and efficiency standardsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in accordance with plant policiesRespond quickly to equipment downtime and report issues to supervisorsBe self-managed, detail-oriented, and capable of performing under pressureFollow all plant, ESH, CBS, quality, and department processes and proceduresOther duties as assignedNOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed.
QualificationsTHE ENVIRONMENT

This includes safety wear such as hearing protection, safety shoes, safety glasses (as needed)12-hour 2-2-3 pattern (panama) shift 6:45-7:00 (can be either days or nights) including every other weekend and overtime as neededTraining schedule before being assigned a shift is Monday-Friday 4:30am-12:00pmThe job is within a climate-controlled environment and you will be exposed forklift and pedestrian traffic and noiseThe role involves various physical tasks, including lifting tires/material and operating machinery and tools, with comprehensive training providedThis role starts at $18.65 an hour.
