Visual Communication Designer (Graphic Designer)

We are seeking a talented and creative Visual Communication Designer (Graphic Designer) to join our team. In this role, you will create compelling visual assets that effectively communicate our brand identity, while collaborating closely with the marketing team to deliver high-quality, on-brand designs that engage our audience and support business objectives.

Develop visually engaging designs for various digital and print materials including but not limited to: hotel collateral, social media graphics, event activation design, retail collaborations, email templates, website elements, presentations, and advertisements.

Creation of print-ready files and oversight of print production for hotel collateral and retail merchandise. Possess attention to detail and knowledge of pre-flight processes for postcards, menus, merch and large format print jobs. Uphold stringent quality standards.

Project management skills – a highly organized self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects, plan and schedule, and problem solve. Familiarity with Asana is a plus.

Collaborate closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements, objectives, and brand guidelines.

Implement branding elements and ensure consistency across all design assets.

Generate innovative ideas and concepts that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.

Produce high-quality designs that meet project deadlines and exceed expectations.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design, typography, and visual communication.

Provide constructive feedback and contribute to brainstorming sessions with other team members.

Work across Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.

Be highly organized, following established file naming systems, and contribute to developing more efficient ways of working.

Communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to articulate design concepts, rationale, and project updates.

Proven portfolio demonstrates strong creative, digital, and print design work.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Certificates (Optional but Advantageous)

Adobe Certified Professional (ACP) or equivalent design certifications.

Certifications in motion graphics, video editing, or digital marketing tools are a plus

Example B: Ability to travel as required on a national basis (approximately 5-10%).
