Job Title: Visualization Designer
Job Description

As a Visualization Designer, you will collaborate with industrial designers, UX specialists, and engineers to prototype and build AR applications for Apple Vision Pro. This role pushes the boundaries of spatial computing while redefining the product design process. You will help designers re-imagine how hardware, software, and interfaces are experienced in real time and space, developing interactive tools that reveal and measure the impact of design decisions. ResponsibilitiesDevelop immersive applications for Apple Vision Pro, visionOS, and macOS purpose-built for visualizing transportation design concepts.Collaborate with transportation designers and visualization specialists to bring real-world vehicle designs into immersive mixed-reality environments.Develop applications that enable product visualization and design reviews in spatial computing contexts.Build real-time immersive applications that track and measure user interactions to inform and validate design decisions.Create compelling interactive visualizations that bring product and experience concepts to life using mixed-reality and visionOS tools.Support the creation of design review apps, virtual walkarounds, and in-cab experience simulators for use in design and marketing.Prototype intuitive spatial UX interfaces tailored to industrial and commercial vehicle workflows.Essential SkillsProficiency in Obj-C, C, and/or C++. Knowledge of Python, Java, and comfortable learning new languages.Deep understanding of iOS and/or macOS system libraries, frameworks, and technologies.Expertise with concurrency APIs and Apple CPU/GPU architecture.Experience delivering high-quality software to end users, optimizing and debugging complex systems.Solid understanding of AR/VR spatial computing, scene optimization, and performance tuning for real-time applications.Expertise with 3D software such as CAD tools.Experience rendering and visualizing with platforms such as KeyShot, VRED, and Unreal Engine.Proven ability to convert and optimize complex transportation design CAD models for real-time AR use.Strong grasp of materials, lighting, and scene composition for photorealistic or real-time visuals.Knowledge of design workflows in transportation or mobility-focused sectors.Experience translating 3D concepts into user-friendly interactive experiences within AR and spatial computing contexts.Expertise in prototyping and testing UI/UX flows for mixed-reality apps with a focus on design visualization.Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure accurate rendering of industrial designs in app experiences.Experience optimizing applications for performance, interactivity, and scalability on Apple's AVP platforms.Experience in 3D asset pipeline integration using tools like Blender, Autodesk Tools, Unity alongside native Apple frameworks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAdvanced mathematics for 3D real-time applications, including linear algebra.Solid understanding of human-centered design and interactive prototyping in AR/VR contexts.Previous experience working in automotive or transportation sectors.Portfolio of mixed-reality applications or visualization tools.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr.
