Position Overview: 

Provide virtual speech and language pathology services to students in grades K-8, addressing a wide range of communication disorders.  Virtually supervise an on-site Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), providing clinical guidance, regular feedback, and ensuring quality of care and compliance. Manage and prioritize a student caseload (12-40 students), including developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or similar intervention plans, conducting individualized and group therapy sessions, ongoing assessments, and maintaining all required documentation. Flexible hours based on staffing: If an SLPA is on-site: The SLP role will be part-time (30 hours/week, caseload of 12 students), primarily focused on supervision and virtual service delivery. If no SLPA is on-site (or until one is found): The SLP will be responsible for a full-time caseload of up to 40 students for 37.5 hours/week. Collaborate with the on-site SLPA, school staff, and families to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom and home environments. Utilize expertise to design and deliver an effective virtual curriculum to students, ensuring high-quality speech and language services are provided remotely.

Qualifications: 

Master’s Degree Valid CA Clinical Rehabilitative Services Credential California Speech-Language Pathologist License (CA-SLP) Must meet the state requirements to supervise an SLPA Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred) Experience in developing and implementing engaging teletherapy curricula to support students' communication goals in a remote learning environment.
