As a Virtual and Augmented Reality Engineer, you will work on activities for New Technology Introduction and New Product Introduction projects. 

As a Virtual Reality Engineer you will be responsible for:

Driving virtual and augmented reality activities to support and validate new products and new technology projects needs.Identifying, developing, validating and introducing engineering solutions to meet near term and long-range manufacturing and engineering needs for products design validation and manufacturingClearly articulate design decisions to a vast set of internal stakeholders across functions involved.Work collaboratively with Digital Technology and other partners for technology project from concept to completionMaintaining an active role in developing and defining the state of the art in virtual and reality technologies in order to anticipate, apply, adapt or develop technologies for product introduction, quality, performance, cost improvements and problem resolution in meeting current and future business needs including adherence to schedules and estimated costs;Communicating results by preparing written reports and making presentations describing analyses performed, solutions developed, and value obtained;Drive planning, strategy, and vision on key priorities across cross-functional team to fit project milestonesManaging and using virtual and augmented reality hardware to validate new technology from lab to production environmentProviding technical guidance, direction and training to other functions and co-ops.

To be successful in this role you will: 

Have a Mechanical or equivalent Engineering Master’s or Bachelor’s degreeShow previous experience as a virtual & augmented reality engineerHave knowledge of Industry 4.0 principles and technologies (Virtual & Augmented Reality)Have knowledge of virtual and augmented reality software and development platformsHave good competencies in virtual and augmented reality devices knowledge (projection systems, tracking cameras, head mounted and haptic devices)Have experience in using 3D CAD tool (NX, VisMockUp, Aveva, Smart Plant)Have code programming skillsDemonstrate analytical, experimental, and problem solving skills;Be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organizationBe a team playerBe fluent in English, spoken and written  Have EU work permit
