Virtual Desktop Engineer
Location: Hybrid – Indianapolis, IN Position: VDI Systems Administrator Overview: We’re seeking a skilled VDI Systems Administrator to support and expand a Horizon View and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment. This is a hybrid role based in Indianapolis, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge virtual desktop infrastructure in a collaborative, agile team. Key Responsibilities: + Administer and maintain Horizon View desktop pools + Manage FSLogix profile containers + Configure and support Cloud Gateway + Collaborate on transition and expansion into Azure Virtual Desktop + Support multiple VM configurations for varied user scenarios + Work with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) and Azure AD + Troubleshoot Tier 3+ issues across VDI platforms + Design, build, and scale VDI solutions + Ensure security, performance, and compliance + Document processes, configurations, and architectural decisions Top Skills: + Horizon View administration + VMware, VDI, and system administration + Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)-Not a must...nice to have Qualifications: + 4–5 years of hands-on experience in VDI environments + Proven experience building and scaling Horizon View infrastructure + Exposure to cloud-based VDI strategies (AVD) + Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills + Experience in Microsoft-centric environments + Ability to work independently and within a small, agile team Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.
