VIP Lead Coordinator
**Description:** Andaz Maui at Wailea is the first resort for the Andaz brand. Situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline, the 15-acre beachfront resort is located along Mokapu Beach in Wailea, one of the most sought after leisure and resort destinations in the world. The luxury resort community of Wailea includes a 1.2 mile-long oceanfront beach path connecting five crescent-shaped, golden-sand beaches, a premier shopping center and distinguished restaurants. The VIP Lead Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for guests booked in our premium Villa and Residences, as well as any guests referred to the VIP team for an enhanced guest experience. This role supports pre-arrival coordination across Concierge, Spa, Restaurants, Beach Activities, Excursions, Amenities, and more, while also ensuring accommodations are properly prepared and guest preferences are executed. As the Lead within the VIP Coordinator team, this role acts as second-in-command to the VIP Manager, taking ownership of coordination workflows and serving as a key operational point of contact once guests are in-house. The VIP Lead Coordinator steps in to manage complex situations, independently handles guest recovery, and provides guidance and support to other coordinators to ensure a seamless, elevated, and consistent VIP experience. Key Responsibilities: · Serve as the lead point of contact for premier Villa guests and Owners, managing daily pre-arrival workflows and all ongoing follow-ups. · Independently handle guest recoveries and service challenges, ensuring timely and appropriate resolutions. · Coordinate and organize pre-arrival details for Spa, Dining, Excursions, and special guest requests. · Maintain oversight of arrival and departure schedules to ensure accurate timing and readiness. · Lead annual vendor pricing updates and assist with rate changes to ensure all Villa collateral remains current and accurately charged. · Maintain professional communication with Villa Owners and serve as a primary operational support for the VIP Manager and Reservations Manager once guests are on-site. · Oversee the team’s daily progress, ensuring all coordinators complete their assigned portions of the checklist on time. · Monitor all guest-facing communication and villa setups to ensure enhanced experience standards are consistently met. · Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments to ensure seamless service delivery for VIP guests.
